Since 2018, the Faculty of Engineering – Pattimura University has held the annual ALE National Seminar, formerly known as Seminar Nasional Archipelago Engineering (ALE), which provided a regular forum for researchers in Engineering. The ALE National Seminar is held to celebrate the Anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering, every April 16.
This year, the National Seminar of ALE invites researchers and lecturers to submit research articles or reviews related to the application of various technologies in developing the maritime industry in Indonesia. There are three important things in technology development: related to the technology itself, environmental conditions where the technology is applied, and sustainability of technology applications.
